Product Overview

High temperature filter bags is a baghouse filtration element for high-temperature flue gas, made of high-temperature resistant fiber into needle felt or woven fabric, sewn into a bag shape and installed on the tube sheet of pulse-jet baghouses or compartment reverse-air baghouses. Dust-laden gas passes through the bag; dust is retained on the outer surface, and clean gas passes through the media. Bag material must be selected according to flue gas temperature, composition, and dust characteristics to maintain filtration performance and mechanical strength within the service temperature range.

Selection & Comparison Notes

• PPS needle felt is suitable for 130–190°C, maintaining strength integrity and inherent chemical resistance, used for raw coal boilers, waste incinerators, and power plant fly ash collection.
• Metas needle felt is suitable for around 200°C high-temperature flue gas filtration, used in steel, power, and asphalt mixing industries.
• P84 polyimide media has continuous service temperature up to 260°C and short-term peak 280°C.
• Fiberglass membrane bags are also suitable for 260°C, with acid-resistant backing material providing enhanced flex life and chemical resistance.
• Singeing and calendering make the bag surface smooth and reduce dust embedding.
• PTFE membrane forms a microporous film on the surface, improving fine dust capture.

Applications

• Cement kiln tail and kiln head dedusting systems
• Steel plant sintering machine flue gas filtration
• Coal-fired and biomass boiler dedusting
• Waste incinerator flue gas treatment

• Asphalt mixing plant high-temperature flue gas filtration
• Metallurgical furnace and drying equipment tail gas filtration
• Power plant fly ash collection
• Chemical industry high-temperature dust-laden gas filtration

Quality Control

After sewing, each bag is checked for stitch continuity, stitch spacing, and spring ring fixation. Membrane bags are additionally checked for membrane adhesion, damage, or delamination. 100% visual inspection before packing, with bag dimensions, stitching quality, and surface treatment recorded. Third-party inspection accepted. The factory has supplied this product line to cement kiln tail, steel sintering, and waste incineration projects, and uses flue gas temperature and composition data from these projects to match material and surface treatment.

FAQ

Q: How to select high temperature filter bag material by temperature?

A: By flue gas temperature range. 130–190°C: PPS; 190–220°C: Metas; 220–260°C: P84 or fiberglass membrane. If flue gas contains acid-base corrosive components, P84 or fiberglass membrane is preferred; if sulfur content is high and temperature is below 190°C, PPS is a common option.

Q: How to choose between P84 and fiberglass membrane?

A: Both have similar temperature resistance. P84 has better acid gas resistance and faster pressure drop recovery after cleaning. Fiberglass membrane has higher mechanical strength and better flex resistance, but general alkali resistance. If flue gas contains alkaline dust, P84 is preferred; if flue gas contains acid components and temperature is high, both can be used, and selection depends on dust characteristics and operating cost.
