Industrial Carbon Adsorbers

The Industrial Carbon Adsorbers are our most popular gas treatment units. They are similar to Product 15 but designed for higher airflow and wider concentration ranges. The core is the activated carbon layer. The carbon captures VOCs, benzene, esters, alcohols, and odors. The treated gas meets emission standards. Our Industrial Carbon Adsorbers use a drawer-type modular design. Multiple carbon drawers sit inside the housing. Each drawer can be pulled out individually. Carbon replacement takes only 30 minutes. You do not need to disassemble the unit. The housing can be carbon steel, 201 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, or PP. We choose the material based on exhaust gas corrosiveness.

We use high-quality coal-based granular carbon for the Industrial Carbon Adsorbers. The iodine value is above 800mg/g. This gives a large micro-pore volume and high adsorption capacity. For a printing plant, we supplied a unit with 15,000 m³/h airflow. The inlet VOC was about 350mg/m³. The outlet dropped to 65mg/m³. Adsorption efficiency reached 81%. Each carbon fill weighed 350 kg. Under continuous operation, the carbon lasted about 4 months. The operating cost was acceptable to the customer. Our units have been used in printing, injection molding, painting, rubber, and chemical plants since 2018.

The Industrial Carbon Adsorbers are highly flexible. Size is based on your airflow and installation space. Material is based on gas corrosiveness. Carbon type can be coal-based, coconut shell, or modified carbon. We can add a pre-filter section to remove particles and paint mist. This protects the carbon from clogging. We test each unit before shipment. We provide a one-year warranty. Spent carbon is hazardous waste and must be properly disposed. We can help you contact licensed disposal companies.
