Packed Tower Scrubbers

The Packed Tower Scrubbers are the standard configuration in our wet scrubber line. They share the same design as Products 19 and 20. The term "Scrubbers" emphasizes their function as a purification module. This makes them suitable for engineering companies and system integrators. The tower is filled with Pall rings, Raschig rings, or Intalox saddles. The packing provides a large surface area for gas-liquid contact. The gas is absorbed or neutralized by the scrubbing liquid. Our Packed Tower Scrubbers have five main parts. These are the tower body, packing layer, spray system, circulation tank, and mist eliminator.

The tower material for our Packed Tower Scrubbers can be PP, FRP, or 304/316 stainless steel. Diameter ranges from 0.3 to 3.5 meters. Airflow covers 2,000 to 80,000 m³/h. The mist eliminator can be wire mesh or vane type. For an electroplating line, we supplied a tower for HCl and chromic acid mist. The inlet concentration was about 120mg/m³. After caustic scrubbing, the outlet dropped to below 4mg/m³. Removal rate exceeded 96%. The unit used PP material. Corrosion resistance was excellent. The unit has run for five years with no visible corrosion. We complete tower fabrication and assembly in our 4,000-square-meter factory. We test for air-tightness and spray performance before shipment.

The Packed Tower Scrubbers are customized for each project. Tower diameter is based on your airflow. Tower height is based on contact time and packing layers. Packing type is selected for your gas composition. Spray nozzle type and count are designed for the tower size. The material is chosen for corrosion and temperature resistance. PP withstands up to 80℃. FRP withstands up to 120℃. Stainless steel handles over 200℃. We can add an automatic dosing system for pH control. Our minimum order is one piece. We provide a one-year warranty.
