Paint Booth Carbon Filters

The Paint Booth Carbon Filters are specially designed for paint booth exhaust. Compared to Product 22, this unit has a built-in pre-filter section for paint mist. Paint booth exhaust has three main challenges. It contains paint mist particles. It has high VOCs (benzene, toluene, xylene). It has strong odors. Filtration precision and safety requirements are very high. Our Paint Booth Carbon Filters include a dry pre-filter stage. This uses primary and medium-efficiency filter pads. These layers remove paint mist and particles. The filter pads are in drawer-type frames. Replacement is quick and easy.

The carbon adsorption stage of our Paint Booth Carbon Filters uses a drawer-type design. The carbon has an iodine value above 800mg/g. Adsorption efficiency for paint VOCs reaches over 90%. Safety is critical. We include flame arresters, explosion vents, and anti-static design. The fan and motor are explosion-proof. The entire system is grounded. For a car 4S paint booth in Jiangsu, we supplied a unit with 20,000 m³/h airflow. The housing was 304 stainless steel. The filter pads were flame-retardant. After startup, the VOC dropped from 420mg/m³ to 65mg/m³. Odor intensity was greatly reduced. The filter pads were changed every two weeks. Carbon was changed every four months.

The Paint Booth Carbon Filters are sized based on your paint booth volume and paint usage. We calculate the required airflow from the booth volume and air change rate. The pre-filter section is designed based on paint mist volume. We ensure paint mist does not pass through to the carbon section. We can add differential pressure gauges to monitor filter resistance.
